Loom bands are finding their way here! In the UK everyone seemed to be busy doing them. I found some here and it's been a fun ice breaker with grannies and kids. They were meant to be used for the kids at a children's home but they arrived too late in the post. Next time.. So adults, kids, and friends are lining their wrists with different colored bracelets. The toddlers around outside like to say hi and are happy if someone makes one for then or if I give one to them. They are a great way to sit down with people.
Have you done loom bands? Are they popular were you live?
We just found out that we have to move. We have about a month to find somewhere new and pack everything up. The landlord will move back in with his family. Although we hoped this was a place we could settle in for a while, it seems that we have to be flexible and move. So soon my house will be filled with boxes. A year sure goes by quickly. In some ways it feels like we just unpacked. Now it's time to start putting EVERYTHING in boxes. We hope to stay in this area and are house hunting. Not every flat is a good family home (some are in quite a bad state ) so we are looking for the right place.
We have busy weeks. Especially this time of year, it's one of our busiest seasons (and most wonderful) and it's nice to relax on the weekends, when we can. Saturday morning my little man's friend called and asked if we wanted to hang out. I invited them over to play and then stay for lunch. Her mom and her were enjoying themselves so much that they stayed for lunch, the whole afternoon, and almost dinner. They went back at 6:00. She brought me fish to cook for lunch eyeballs and all:) So we had pasta and fish for lunch. I'm thankful for the boys' good behavior all day. It made for a lovely day and what relief to go through a day without fighting!

I use to find rocks in my boy's pockets. But last time I forgot to check and it seems he was storing up quail eggs that were then washed and spun dry:)
Thanks for stopping by and reading! Have a joyful Sunday.
