Photo updates

We are back in China and here are a few photos of the last few weeks:)

Our boys are doing great.  My little man walks around and tells me about his day, likes to repeat everything he's ever heard (he doesn't forget anything) and my baby would live outside if he could.  He points at the door and says out and then tries to put on Daddy's shoes.  I get told off because I let him sit on the ground.  Today a little girl was next to him and the mom let her sit on the ground.  There was a huge *GASP* as they all said "she's sitting on the ground!"  People quickly looked for a paper to put beneath her and after a brief moment she was lifted up.  So between my baby sitting on the ground, wearing a short-sleeve shirt, digging in dirt and occasionally throwing it and my little man running through sprinklers, and then back to his brother to throw dirt at him, we don't quite fit into the mold.  But we love it.

Arrived back safely, just a bit tired.

The warehouse part of the city.  People buy in bulk down here.
My little man's school had checkups.  The teacher asked me to come in :)  He wasn't happy about getting blood drawn or getting checked up.
Notice how patiently all of he students just wait?  Incredible!
I spent the morning at school with him.  Breakfast time.
And then we checked on his vision.  Wasn't fun.  Still have to go back.
They suspect he may need glasses.  Final test of the day.
My baby is growing up!  Sometimes we cook rice and sometimes he wants to be cooked:)

End of the day play time.
My DH rented a boat and took a turn with both kids.  They had a blast (and got a bit wet when water seeped in).

Peacefully sleeping.  Not many moments like this really happen:)

Getting outside of the city.  I love the farm fields.

We made homemade pizza last week.  It was great!
There were holidays this week so we took people up to the mountains.

Lately he loves dirt, rocks and sticks.  People comment on how dirty he gets:)  They don't usually let their kids play in the dirt.
A friendly little girl.
