Pics and update

I hope that you had a fantastic Easter!

It's been fun celebrating it. I think we had our last celebration the other day! We've done crafts with different groups of kids, in classes and more.

My highlight is asking the kids at the kids home if they remembered how we celebrated Easter last year. A little girl knelt down, opened up her backpack and showed us the book/craft that we did a year ago. She takes it to school with her everyday. My heart immediately filled with joy. What we do with them really means something to them. Maybe our imperfect love, sitting and connecting really impacts their lives. It's never enough but maybe they receive something.

Anyways, just a brief hello and a few pics. Have a good one.
We hid eggs for them. One egg was hid in their big fishbowl:)
These people are selling paper money and flowers in preparation for Tomb Sweeping day. It's a national holiday. Many believe that they can give their ancestors money and wealth in their after-life.
On a happier note, it's taken about 6 months, but I'm happy to say my middle son has started to eat lunch (some days). He's a much happier kid when he eats:)

Thanks for stopping by and reading:)
