It's loud over here. The sky is filled with fireworks and everyone is celebrating. Usually the fireworks go off most of the night.
This is a special time of year. I like seeing everyone celebrating. For the past week people have tried to thoroughly clean their houses and stock up on boxes of fruit and other things to give away to close family. Most shops are closedand the mail service has paused for a week.
This afternoon kids were looking for left over firecrackers and then lighting them. There was an older teen supervising the young boys and their fire fun.
