It's a big deal getting him tested and finding a new pair. He doesn't like to sit still (so then we have to dials re his pupils) and it's not always straight forward. He is a creative kid. He is presently "telling his story" so sometimes he will find an innocent listener (but an English speaker) and tell this person what's going on, all about the "good guys," and talk for between twenty to forty minutes. He talks about how he will make adult movies and the whole process. He's creative:)
So the glasses he was drawn to were square neon green ones. We like him to feel comfortable and choose a pair he likes, but knowing how much attention he gets, we tried to steer him away from neon green. When his glasses are more subtle, fewer adults randomly walk up to me, talk eye sight and ask questions, etc. We get quite a lot of attention at present (if people don't do double takes it's unique.)
