Here are a few photos that we took in the past couple of days. As you can see, William's now sitting up by himself. And also, we had some snow! It was beautiful when it was coming down but today it's REALLY beautiful...we finally have a lovely, blue sky! The snow helped bring the pollution down so we're enjoying it. Once William wakes up from his nap, we're going out!!
Hopefully today we'll move into our apartment. Things are a bit fluid. Since it was snowing yesterday, we don't think our landlady did a lot of moving. But today, weather isn't going to stand in our way:)
Yesterday I went to the store to get some sheets. I just wanted to have a look around and see what was available. Suddenly we were surrounded. The woman helping us was being very friendly and she was putting ALL sorts of things into my trolley (can you tell where my Chinese is at at this point!). In the end, we got a sheet set, not necessarily what I wanted, but it'll do the job. I'm finding that going to the supermarket to get things is more complicated than I anticipated. We aren't usually able to slip in under the radar to look at things: we stick out, everybody loves William and wants to have a good poke at him, our Chinese language is a bit limited, there are a LOT of people working in every area so we can attract a good amount of attention. It makes "looking around" a very serious thing!
William has a cool mesh thing that we stick cut up fruit in. So he can hold it and suck on the fruit. Luke stuck it onto the play gym so William could enjoy it whilst we finished up our dinner.
Does he look cold to you!?? Trust me.. he isn't!!
