Dear Friends and Family,
Merry Christmas! We send you our greetings this holiday season!

Perhaps many of you already get our newsletter and know what’s going on with us, but just in case, we wanted to give you a window into our 2009!
We arrived in Nottingham, England in May 2009 with three bags, a guitar and Christina carrying the greatest gift God had entrusted us with to date...a baby boy.
It would prove an exciting time for us as friendships were both forged and deepened at Luke’s home. Alongside re-connecting with friends we both studied separately (me a TEFL and Luke a Soccer Coaching Course) and together began learning language and applying for visas.
Undoubtedly the climax of 2009 came in the midst of frantic house renovations and much rushing around when on Sep. 3rd William Timothy Harniess was welcomed, weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz.
We were parents!
At just three days old some of the first people to witness the tiny miracle were excited grandparents John and Pat Tschohl (Christina’s parents) and Uncle Matthew, and family friend, Paul, all flew in from the States for a week with William.
We are now spending time with family, visiting friends and reconnecting at Christina’s home. At the end of January we travel to Asia.
In February, with the support of a family there, we will begin looking for an apartment, learning the language and meeting locals.
May God’s peace rest upon you this holiday season and may your 2010 be filled with grace. We treasure your friendship and support.
All our love,
Luke, Christina and William

Isn't Christmas great with a baby? I see William has got the same play gym that Monty had.
