Soccer and Minnesota

The water is back to normal. It probably took about a week or so until it was all sorted out, but it's fine now. Thanks to  all who wrote.  

I've been enjoying the neighborhood kids coming around to our house in the late afternoons. Sometimes they play Uno or hang out until our kids can go out to play soccer. My boys love soccer. They talk about it, think about it, etc. We play with a really mixed group. Most kids are 9-14 years old. We play in a common cement area for about 1.5-2 hours each night. The game time is interesting. It's a lot of fun but sometimes it includes a lot of yelling, emotions, etc. Kids get swept up into the game and injustices. The kids are all fabulous but sometimes they get upset about different things. It's a process trying to talk it out with them, but things are slowly getting better. 

We will be back in Minnesota the next three weeks. It will be great to see family and friends. We are all looking forward to it!
