Water

A couple days ago we heavy rains and flooding here. Since then some apartment blocks have been without electricity. Those people have to go up and down +20 flights of stairs each time.

The city's water supply is affected as well. The water reservoirs are polluted so they are trying to fix it. The company hoped to turn the water back on during meal times, but I imagine it wasn't possible.
They sent water tanks out around the city and people lined up with buckets. My DH took pots and buckets downstairs and waited in line. The tank's water ran out. He found water around the corner at a building site. So we were able to wash the dishes, floor, sponge bathe and sort out our bathrooms. Sometimes it takes losing something to really value it.

The supply company claims it should be back to normal in 5 days. I'm hoping that it comes back sooner!
Thanks for stopping by and reading.
