Joy to you from us!

Merry Christmas! We hope that you are having a wonderful Christmas!

Over here, everyone is in bed and Christmas is coming to a close.

It was a busy week.  Our last Christmas party of the season came to a close. This week we baked, sang carols, shared the Christmas story, hope and joy and various things in between. And then we cried over Legos, lost a couple of clothes because of chicken greece, and had a few overwhelmed moments.

My DH's parents are here for a visit and it has been great to have time with them. The kids are enjoying grandparent time. And my mother-in-law has been scouring my kitchen, washing every dish and cup and filling our house with laughter. My father-in-law put together lots of little Lego men today, read books and tried to not sigh when a small hiccup turned into a meltdown.
My Mother-in-law brought us a homemade fruit cake and brought it all the plane with her.

Merry Christmas. Thanks for stopping by and reading. May your Christmas be filled with joy and peace.
