We're back from the Extreme Autumn camp. It was great! We're thankful that we saw many young people impacted.
In the camp, we organized heaps of team-building games, challenges, talks, mountain biking excursions and hiked up a mountain. We tired them out and challenged them to look to think about life in a new way and to include Him in everything from work, to their studies, to sports.
There were 10 youth in the camp, ages 14-21 years old. There was time set aside in the camp for them to have quiet times and reflect upon the teachings and reflections that went along with the games and lessons for each day. Also, we talked with them individually and listened to what was going on in their lives.
By the end of the camp, they all were able to share about new things they learned.
We had a great team working on the camp and it all went very smoothly. From the cooking, teaching, game organizing, transportation, to bundling up in the night in our tents, we had a great time and are so thankful for everything.
